1.0 17/07/2002 Proposal HealthCare Party Unique Identifier This is the string that uniquely identifies a HealthCare Party referenced within the Belgian HealthCare System. The concept of HealthCare Party refers to the definition 3.39 given in the CEN ENV13606-4:2000 prestandard: 'organisation or person involved in the direct or indirect provision of healthcare services to an individual or to a population'. This includes sender and recipients of messages, healthcare providers, prescribers, reviewers, ... nurses, physicians, pharmacists, ... We extend the CEN concept to also include medical specialties and software application, as described in the CD-HCPARTY reference table. The value is the RIZIV/INAMI number of the person or organisation. That string is placed as the value of the element ID of the element HCPARTY within elements like SENDER or AUTHOR. The scheme used is specified in the attribute 'S' of the element ID of the element HCPARTY. The version of the scheme used is specified in the attribute 'SV' of the element ID of the element HCPARTY. National unique identifier ID-HCPARTY 1.0 <sender><hcparty><id S="ID-HCPARTY" SV="1.0">15858558580</id></hcparty></sender> This means that the sender of the message is the person or organisation uniquely identified by the value '1.58585.58.580' within the version '1.0' of the scheme 'ID-HCPARTY' (which refers in fact to the RIZIV/INAMI identification system) of the Belgian HealthCare Telematics Commission.
